Do the tours go for a full day?
Yes – all tours go from 9am to about 5.30 - 6pm.
Will I be picked up from where I am staying?
Yes, providing you are close to Byron Bay we will pick you up and drop you off at the end of the day.
How many people will be on my tour?
We only take 6 people per tour. This minimises our impact on the environment & enables everyone to have a more intimate experience with the amazing areas we visit.
What clothes should I wear?
Comfortable walking shoes and clothes, a hat and in cooler weather a jacket. Raincoats will be provided if necessary. In Summer bring bathers & a towel for a refreshing rainforest swim!
Do I need to bring any food?
Lunch, snacks & morning tea are provided, but please bring your own drinking water.
OK, what exactly do you supply for lunch?
Lunch will be an informal affair, in the rainforest, and includes lavash bread, and plenty of scrumptious ingredients for you to make up your own wraps. Ingredients like semi-dried tomatoes, tabouli, hommous, edam cheese, avocado and other savoury fillers will be provided. Locally grown organic produce gives this bush tucker a unique ‘Byron’ style!
 Will I see any wildlife?
Of course! We will be heading into a natural environment, alive with amazing creatures of every description – birds, reptiles, insects – this is their home we are visiting!
What sort of Vehicle do you use?
A Mitsubishi Delica 4wd van. Fully air-conditioned and very comfortable.
What is the cost?
All tours cost $85.00 per person. At this stage we don’t have card facilities so you will need cash on the day.
What if it rains?
Humans are waterproof! But all tours are subject to weather, road & National Park conditions. The tour operator reserves the right to postpone or change any tour accordingly. You will be notified early on the morning of the tour if this happens. Rain jackets will be provided if necessary if the weather changes during the day.
Are you an accredited operator?
Yes – the tour operator has all necessary National Park permits & accreditation to conduct the tours.
